I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be flabbergasting.  I’m not one of those people who thinks that racism is an outdated problem or that “white people are discriminated against too!  Boo hoo!” or anything like that.  In fact, as far as I can tell, considering this racist is lending credence to the notion that black skin is something DIFFERENT, implying that some alternate skin color (white, as so kindly determined for us by those in power) is NORMAL.  Now I’m often able to be proven wrong, which is why I asked the question.  I suspect someone very likely has a legitimate answer for me that will put this in perspective.

I don’t know how I feel about this; most tyrants and regimes have fallen to other, usually worse tyrants and regimes.  I do believe that they will all fall eventually, I’m just not sure it’s necessary that a good system will take their place in the stead of total human destruction.  I think that distinction is up to us.
